Couples Therapy
My approach to therapy is compassionate, client-centered, and trauma-informed, grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationship. I work to create a safe, grounded, and playful environment where clients can explore their deepest challenges and growth. In couples counseling, I focus on fostering a healthy dynamic between partners, ensuring they remain connected while also working towards their individual growth. I believe the journey of healing is not just about fixing problems but building resilience and trust, cultivating healthy communication, and rediscovering intimacy.
I integrate communication improvement, conflict navigation, and intimacy restoration in couples work. My goal is to help couples strengthen their emotional bond, enhance understanding of one another, and create a space for mutual vulnerability.
I am Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) trained for couples work, and I integrate a somatic lens into my practice. For trauma and intimacy work, I utilize mindfulness, breathing techniques, and body-based interventions. Currently, I am furthering my expertise through Somatic Experiencing (SE) training. My approach focuses on helping clients develop deeper awareness of their bodies and emotional experiences, fostering resilience, and creating lasting change.
